At Ecostack Innovations, we support the design, implementation, and scaling of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and climate-resilient strategies that work with ecosystems to address societal challenges. These include mitigating and adapting to climate change, enhancing biodiversity, improving water management, and supporting human wellbeing. We offer science-based, participatory services across the full NbS project cycle—from co-design and stakeholder engagement to impact monitoring and policy integration. Our work is grounded in ecosystem knowledge, transdisciplinary collaboration, and strong alignment with the EU Biodiversity Strategy, the Nature Restoration Law, and global climate adaptation goals.
Climate Adaptation and Resilience Strategies
We help governments, agencies, and organisations develop and integrate robust climate strategies that build resilience, reduce risk, and align with national and EU policy frameworks. Our services span vulnerability assessments, nature-based adaptation planning, and climate risk mapping—anchored in both scientific analysis and stakeholder input.
We support the integration of adaptation and mitigation measures into regional development plans, urban policies, and sectoral strategies (e.g. water, agriculture, tourism). Our work ensures that climate action is not treated in isolation but embedded in spatial planning, biodiversity management, and sustainability governance—delivering lasting impact across multiple sectors.
Nature-Based Solutions Co-Design and Co-Creation
We work closely with communities, stakeholders, and local authorities to co-design Nature-based Solutions that are context-specific, inclusive, and ecologically sound. Through participatory methods, scenario-building, and evidence-based planning, we help develop solutions that restore ecosystems while addressing societal needs.
Our co-design services span urban greening, watershed management, ecological corridors, and green infrastructure integration. We ensure solutions are tailored to local conditions, aligned with policy frameworks, and capable of delivering long-term environmental, economic and social co-benefits.
Nature-Based Solutions Uptake and Implementation
Despite growing recognition of their benefits, many organisations face barriers to adopting and scaling Nature-based Solutions. We support public bodies, NGOs, and private sector actors in overcoming these challenges, whether related to funding, governance, or evidence gaps.
Our services include strategy development, policy mainstreaming, cost–benefit analysis, and coordination support. We work to embed NbS into land-use plans, climate adaptation strategies, and regional development processes, while identifying opportunities for cross-sectoral integration and innovative financing.
Nature-Based Solutions Monitoring and Evaluation
To demonstrate value and ensure accountability, effective monitoring is essential. We develop tailored frameworks and indicators to track the ecological, social, and economic performance of Nature-based Solutions over time.
Our approach integrates environmental modelling, field-based data collection, and stakeholder feedback. We assess outcomes such as ecosystem service delivery, biodiversity gain, carbon sequestration, and community resilience—helping projects meet funding requirements, improve adaptive management, and contribute to the broader evidence base.
